HTC puts a lot of effort into front-end user experience and background task processing, and modifies the system's source code to make it more suitable for software running requirements. I think the biggest problem is that the user's expectations are too high. Sense 4 has changed significantly compared to Android's native system, and HTC has spent years refining, processing, and eventually turning it into an HTC-featured system that allows HTC's handsets to run on HTC's proprietary systems and software. I have been using HTC One for the sense 4 interface for some time and think HTC is doing pretty well, although several of the ICS native systems have been canceled, but the impact is not significant.
