Hual is a calendar and email server that is designed to be fun and easy to use, and can be easily applied by small groups of large organizations with thousands of people. Hula is an open source project led by Novell (http://www.novell.com).

If you are running a hula server, it might be a good choice to use a package, and if you want to test or process the hula, it is more appropriate to run it from the source file.

Configuration

Before you can start using hula, you must configure hula with your domain information. You can use the Hulasetup command to do this:

sudo hulasetup--domain=yourdomain.com

Replace yourdomain.com with your domain name (for example: ubuntu.com). There is no www. or http://[http://]

Run Hula

Hula has a INIT.D script, you just run it (in a terminal window) to start hula:

Sudo/etc/init.d/hula start

and terminate Hula:

Sudo/etc/init.d/hula stop

Note: It may take a few minutes to completely stop hula, so please be patient and wait for:).

Other considerations

Hula [[/hula/webadmin/webadmin] [/webadmin WebAdmin]] runs on port 89. You can login using Username: admin and Password: Hula.
Hula UI runs on port 8080. You can log in using the account set up in [[/hula/webadmin/webadmin] [/webadmin WebAdmin]].
