Huawei will work with Tesla Motors, the US electric vehicle maker, to develop automotive remote control software for Tesla, Bloomberg reported September 22. Figure Huawei is China's first Android smartphone maker to make a big test drive with Tesla. Huawei spokesman Yi Linna said in a telephone interview that Huawei will develop a remote control software for Tesla owners, through which car owners can use their phones to open doors, adjust air-conditioning and headlights. The software will connect the car via a wireless 4G network, and it can send instructions to the car from any location.
