Huawei's latest 2010 CSR report shows that its staff composition presents the two trends of research and development leading and diversification.  By the end of December 2010, Huawei had more than 110,000 employees from 150 countries and regions, with research and development staff accounting for about 46% of the total number of employees and sales and service personnel of 31%. The total number of expatriate employees is about 21700, and the local proportion of overseas employees has risen from 65% to 69%.  Huawei is also open to foreign staff management positions, to achieve a diversified management team. Employee holdings share a hefty dividend the company's latest equity structure shows that its employees have an absolute holding position.  Huawei Investment Holdings Limited is a wholly-owned shareholder of Huawei Technology Co., which has only two shareholders: the first is a trade union committee of Shenzhen Huawei Investment Holdings Limited, which holds a 98.58% per cent stake in the company, followed by Huawei's president, Ren, who holds the remaining 1.42% per cent. Huawei's latest shareholding in the election, a total of 61,359 employees to participate in the voting, the total number of qualified staff of 95.5%.  According to this calculation, the total number of employees owned by Huawei is about 64250. Huawei's employee-holding system will allow ordinary employees to share the huge dividends of corporate development.
