Hulu proposes to halve fee services

Hulu Plus, which was launched in June this year, was expected to provide Hulu with an additional source of revenue to complement the ad-supported free service.　　Hulu officially launched in 2008.　　Hulu Plus provides paid users with more movies and TV programs than free users, and can also watch with devices such as Apple's iphone and ipad, Microsoft Xobox, and Internet TV. But Hulu Plus's price cuts mean consumers are not buying the service. This is not surprising given the existence of other video options and the limited content that Hulu offers.　　For example, Netflix users only need to spend 8.99 of dollars a month to get a lot of DVD mailing services for movies and TV shows, and there's more and more to watch with products like PCs, mobile phones or tablets.　　But Hulu Plus will only be able to provide users with the three main shareholders--Disney's ABC, GE's NBC and News Corp's Fox--and some of the content that has been off the air.　　The growing tension between content producers and cable service providers suggests that Hulu is unable to get its broadcasts from the same partners, even though Hulu's free service occasionally provides similar content.
