Storediq is an unstructured enterprise data analysis and management company that IBM wants to integrate STOREDIQ software into its overall big data strategy. IBM's Big Data Strategy focuses on governance (such as litigation and legal compliance), secure data processing technologies, and reducing storage costs.
To date, Storediq has a total of about 120 customers in the industry covering financial services, health care, government departments and manufacturing. The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
