IBM and North industry cooperate to build cloud computing experimental platform

On the afternoon of December 14, IBM announced today its collaboration with Beijing University of Technology to build a cloud computing platform for High-performance computing resources and services for schools, businesses, governments and open source communities.　　The project, which is invested by the Beijing municipal government, is a public computing platform for Schools, colleges and society to provide services for school research, enterprise development and municipal projects, and to jointly promote the development of remote system test systems.　　The project uses mobile devices such as hardware virtualization, software versioning, System management automation and service flow integration to build a service-centric cloud computing platform instead of the traditional data center. Zhu Bunzhi, general manager of IBM's Greater China Cloud Computing Center, said: "Cloud computing technology can provide a new technical framework to address the challenges facing the global research sector, including increased access, quality, and cost reduction." The first High-performance computing cloud in China, the largest cloud computing platform in the north, is also a leading case in the global research field of cloud computing.
