IBM and Red Hat join the global Open Source cloud computing Project OpenStack

IBM and Red Hat have joined the global Open Source Cloud computing project this week, OpenStack.

According to Science and technology blog http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13821.html ">gigaom last week, IBM and Red Hat two technology giants will be with at& T and HP and other enterprises joined OpenStack Foundation, become its "Platinum member."

Many companies, including Cisco, Dell and NetApp, will join OpenStack as their "gold member" to increase their total membership to 18 companies. Platinum members are required to pay a membership fee of 500,000 dollars a year and promise to join for at least three years, and the "Gold member" will pay an annual fee equivalent to 0.025% of the revenue, a minimum of not less than 50,000 U.S. dollars and a maximum of 200,000 dollars.
