October 10, IBM local time October 9 said the company has aligned with mobile operator At&t to provide secure shared cloud services to dedicated network consumers.

The service, which will be implemented early next year, will target customers in the global deployment of cloud products that require high levels of security and effectiveness, according to two companies in a statement. Security is a key factor affecting the use of cloud computing technology.

Once the service is launched, users will be able to connect to IBM's cloud computing resources. This process tightly integrates security protection by using a at&t virtual private network connection.

IBM and At&t said that by combining the technologies of the two major companies, users would be able to transfer information or applications between their dedicated cloud data centers and new cloud services, with data having the security of a dedicated network. This feature is expected to be favored by enterprise users who need security to pass data between data centers and wired or wireless computing devices.

The cost of public it cloud services will exceed $40 billion trillion this year, according to IDC, a market research firm, and the cost of it cloud services is expected to rise to $100 billion in 2016. In September, IDC said the US remains the world's largest public cloud service market, followed by Western Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, despite the fastest growth in the cost of it cloud services in emerging economies.

IBM and AT&T will provide the service next year. IBM has previously said that the company plans to reach the end of 2015, so that the total revenue of cloud services products to 7 billion U.S. dollars.

It is reported that At&t developed technology will dynamically distribute network resources to compute resources, can be increased or reduced according to the demand for resources.
