IBM says Vivisimo's software is particularly adept at gathering and obtaining quality information in massive data sources, regardless of the information or where it is. Vivisimo software can automatically discover data and help employees use a view to navigate that information, provide analysis that is available, and help companies make better decisions and solve various operational problems.
Vivisimo has more than 140 corporate customers, about 120 employees. After the deal is completed, the employees will all join the IBM software group.
According to Crunchbase, Vivisimo has financed a total of 5.66 million dollars, including $4 million trillion in investment from North Atlantic Capital in the first round of financing.
