As companies develop new applications, companies will develop software in the foreground using cloud computing delivery. Overall, IDC predicts 2010 Global IT spending will grow by 7% from 2009. Global IT spending fell by 4% in 2009 from 2008. Strong growth in the quarter could make it spending growth at its first double-digit growth since 2000. Minton said IDC expects global IT spending to grow 4% to 5% in 2011.
