The latest IDC research shows that consumers and businesses are up to one-third of the risk of infecting malware with unauthorized software in 2013, while consumers will spend 1.5 billion hours and 22 billion dollars on the impact of finding, fixing, and resolving malware, and global businesses will consume 114 billion dollars to deal with the negative impact of cyber attacks caused by malware. At the same time, IDC data showed that 78% of Web sites/p2p Web downloads of pirated software with traceable cookies or spyware.
