idc:2014 Tablet PC market growth will binary

A Thursday report from IDC, a market research firm, predicts that tablet shipments will continue to grow this year, but will be much slower than last year, as consumers are already quite satisfied with the equipment they already have, the Reuters website reported March 7.

The global growth rate of Tablet PCs will shrink from 51.6% last year to 19.4%, a 3.6% lower than previously forecast, IDC said.
