Implementation of parallel image processing in Hadoop cloud Platform

In recent years, cloud computing has launched a new wave of technological innovation in the IT industry. Cloud computing is a new computing model, which is a comprehensive development of parallel computing, distributed computing and Grid computing, providing unlimited computing resources in the form of simple and transparent services. The open source cloud platform implemented by Hadoop provides parallel computing model MapReduce, Distributed File System HDFs and distributed database HBase. With the increasing of digital image data, the image processing of stand-alone mode can not meet the needs of users. In this paper, we put forward the parallel processing of mass image by using Hadoop cloud Platform, design the type and format based on MapReduce image processing, and realize the parallelism of image processing.
