According to IDC data, two quarter, Lenovo shipped 1.5 million tablet computers, is the world's fourth largest tablet maker. According to data from Taiwan's supply chain manufacturers, Lenovo expects to ship 1.8 million tablets in the three quarter.

Apple, Samsung and Asus will still be the top three tablets in the third quarter, but the gap between Lenovo and Asus will shrink as sales of the second-generation Nexus 7 flat are less than expected.

Lenovo launched the new flat Ideatab S5000, the four quarter is expected to continue to increase shipments.

Lenovo's smartphone and tablet businesses now account for about 14% of the company's revenues, and Lenovo is expected to increase its share to 50% by 2016.

In fiscal year 2013, Lenovo's flat-panel shipments target was 10 million.
