India Infosys and Huawei to collaborate in cloud computing

Infosys, Indian technology company, Infy. NS: The company has reached a global partnership agreement with Huawei, China's largest telecoms maker, to jointly provide cloud computing, large data and communications solutions to corporate customers.

Neither Infosys nor Huawei disclosed the amount of the agreement. Huawei and Infosys will also provide other enterprise-oriented services to integrate Huawei's cloud infrastructure and Infosys's global IT service experience, the two companies said in a statement.

Infosys has been planning to increase investment in cloud computing, smartphone applications and other new technologies to win more lucrative outsourcing contracts.

Huawei and Infosys will explore the establishment of a joint laboratory in China to better achieve cooperation across the sector, the two companies said.
