India wants to develop its own processor

Beijing Time July 17 Noon news, according to the Economic Times of India reported today, the Indian government will convene the top engineers to design a "Indian processor (India microprocessor)" products. One of the objectives of the project is to avoid the security risks arising from the use of commercial processors in military, communications and aeronautical systems. The processor will be designed by a start-up company called Zerone, which initially invested 200 million of dollars in the Indian government. The processor will be designed by engineers from a number of Indian research institutes, and the Ministry of Information Technology in India is responsible for the management work. (PEI)
