The Indian police said in Wednesday that India had arrested 3 Chinese because of suspected money laundering and espionage work on the northern border of India. The arrests took place in the state of Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh) near the Nepalese border in India.　　The local police chief said the arrests were for two men and one woman, all three of whom were said to be employees of the Huawei Company.　　Indian police said the trio claimed to be employees of Huawei working in a Chinese project in Nepal, who first drove to the Nepalese border and had no intention of entering the country. Indian police are arrested on the grounds that they do not have a valid Indian visa to enter India without permission.　　The Indians also said they photographed India's border facilities and were suspected of money-laundering because the trio carried Indian tax cards.
