Infineon 285 million USD expands Austrian plant capacity and development

Beijing time May 9 Morning news, Infineon announced that they will invest 198 million euros (285 million U.S. dollars) to expand its Austrian factory capacity and research and development, the investment will be included in the Infineon 2011 expenditure budget. Infineon says it plans to create 400 jobs for Austria in the current fiscal year, with a total of 2,500 employees in factories such as Linz, 900 of whom are research and development workers.
