Information map: Where do the talent from Silicon Valley come from

Bloomberg Newsweek released a map of talent sources in Silicon Valley, which we can see graphically why Silicon Valley is a global innovation hub.

The map is a circle to show the source of talent in Silicon Valley, the more people contribute to the greater the circle. At the same time, Silicon Valley as the center, according to the source and its distance to decorate these circles.

In the 2010, Asian Americans first became the main technical labor force in Silicon Valley, accounting for 50.1%, and the proportion of white people in Silicon Valley was 40.7%;

With so many foreign immigrants coming to Silicon Valley, it will naturally become an innovation center. But we should also think about why Silicon Valley attracts so many foreign talent, why can it accept so many foreign talent? How can we compete? The recent State's consideration of relaxing the "green card" policy may be the right step, but lowering the threshold is only necessary, not sufficient.
