Instagram co-founder announces upcoming Android apps

"TechWeb Report" March 12 News, Instagram co-founder of photo-sharing application Kevin Histrom (Kevin Systrom) announced in Sunday, registered users have more than 27 million, will launch the Android version of the Instagram.

Systrom unveiled the upcoming Android app at the SXSW conference in Sunday and said "in some ways better than our iOS apps". The Android version of Instagram is currently in beta.

Last year Instagram raised $7 million from Benchmark Capital, Baseline Ventures and Andrison Hollowitz (Andreessen Horowitz), when it valued $25 million.
