Install and configure my Ubuntu 8.04:xp font Chinese Landscaping

Copy 3 font files (SIMSUN.TTC Tahoma.ttf Tahomabd.ttf) to/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype

Directory, Command:

sudo mkdir-p/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/
sudo cp/media/hda1/windows/fonts/simsun.ttc/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/
sudo cp/media/hda1/windows/fonts/tahoma.ttf/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/
sudo cp/media/hda1/windows/fonts/tahomabd.ttf/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/
sudo chmod 644/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/*
cd/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/
sudo mkfontscale
sudo mkfontdir

Update Linux Fonts list, command:

sudo fc-cache/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/truetype/

By replacing the/etc/fonts/language-selector.conf to configure the font, only after this configuration can achieve beautification effect, do not change/etc/fonts/fonts.conf.

Install Ya black font

1. After downloading the font to/usr/share/fonts/vista/(how to download fonts and how to put into the Vista directory without me to teach it)
2. Create Font caching information

sudo mkfontscale
sudo mkfontdir
sudo fc-cache-fv
3. Unzip the attachment and copy the configuration file to/etc/fonts/
4. Overwrite local.conf file
