Install Zabbix on Ubuntu

Zabbix is an enterprise-class open source solution based on the Web interface that provides distributed system monitoring and network monitoring capabilities. The Zabbix is composed of 2 parts, Zabbix server and optional component Zabbix Agent.

Zabbix server can provide monitoring of remote server/network status through Snmp,zabbix agent,ping, port monitoring,  etc., which can run on Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, free BSD, Open BSD, OS x platform.

The Zabbix agent needs to be installed on the target server being monitored, which mainly completes the collection of information such as hardware information or operating system-related memory, CPU, etc. The Zabbix agent can run on Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, free BSD, Open BSD, OS X, TRU64/OSF1, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000/2003/xp/vista) and other systems.

Installing Zabbix on Ubuntu is actually simpler, assuming the LAMP is already installed (Linux Apache2 Mysql5 Php5)

Installation

sudo apt install zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php

During the installation process, because Zabbix needs to install and configure the database, you will be asked to use Dbconfig-common to configure the database for Zabbix-server-mysql, the answer is. Then enter the database administrator (DBA) password, and then enter the Zabbix-server-mysql database password, if left blank is a randomly generated password, repeated input after the successful installation of the Zabbix.

Configuration

Open the browser and enter the machine IP or domain name you installed zabbix-server-mysql (here is 10.137.253.10), as shown in the figure:
