Intel capital investment in US cloud computing gaming company Gaikai

Beijing time July 21 morning news, according to foreign media reports, Cloud computing gaming services company Gaikai has been funded by Intel Capital and Limelight NX investment.   Gaikai received $10 million trillion in funding this May, with Intel investing in an undisclosed amount. Gaikai provides server-based cloud computing gaming technology that allows users to play any game in any Web browser.  Gaikai's Game Publishing Service can store games, run games, publish games to users, and help users interact with the game in any browser. Gaikai will start providing services this summer, with its servers using the six-core processor and the Intel SSD drive.  These games will also run on key nodes in the limelight network. Gaikai recently announced that it has reached an agreement with EA to release EA games including Sims, quality effects and Medal of Honor. Gaikai's main competitor is OnLive.
