Albert Chan: First of all, here, I am honored to share Intel's research and development and future vision in the Internet of things, on behalf of Intel Global Internet Products division.

My theme is embedded intelligence, in the domestic and foreign enterprises to work together to play the role of the cornerstone of the Internet of things. Just now, ladies and gentlemen, we have already elaborated on some of the indirect aspects of the Internet of things, and my report is mainly about how we can play a role in the Internet of things from our existing products at Intel. I think that in the past few decades, China has made such a splendid economic development performance from one China, in the next few years, 10 years to 20, we will be in the technological innovation, intelligent innovation, will be very brilliant performance.

This is a lot of internet four development stage, I briefly. From the earliest 70 's large computer, to the 80 's development of microprocessors. The development of personal computers, the development of mobile phones, the development of the Internet to mobile telecommunications network has now reached the process of voice and image interconnection. The future development trend is the human and the human, the thing and the thing, the human and the thing widespread connection. Intel's 42 history in the past 30 years is closely related to the development of the entire information industry. Intel has a history of 35 years in the embedded direction, and there are 35 different industries with Intel architecture in use. Future Intel's vision, Intel Internet devices will be in a few years through the concept of the Internet of Things to expand, will reach 15 billion of the state of interconnection.

Here, Intel's products can play a major role in promoting one. From the Internet of things, we have heard a lot from the three levels, I mainly want to start from the product, just mentioned a very good concept, we now talk about a lot of internet, but ultimately to the product and business model to the landing.

From the induction layer there are many technical challenges, how to put advanced technology, really find a long-term survival of the business model of the combination. There are a lot of different industries in this, we say that there are automobiles, information entertainment industry, there are safety control, there are intelligent digital signage, even to very simple functions, they and the network layer or transport layer has a different way, there is a direct way, there is an indirect way, which brings a different concept, a concept of network devices, So that in some local low function induction information, can be in the local place to do a summary, and then to the transport layer to do an interconnection. There are some high-end, high function, such as the car inside some intelligent application, or the application of security control, will make the device in their own connected directly with the transport layer, through the transport layer, need to go to an application layer. A big part of Intel is the process of datacenter optimization. In this, from today, on a different level, Intel has a very specific Intel technology application at all levels, through a push for chip technology development and production over the past decades.

For example, in the Automotive information media platform, we believe that Intel architecture car Information Entertainment platform, can really open up a public platform, to accept a variety of operating systems, to build a wide range of applications on this, to enable the use of a variety of services on this technology, There will be a big business opportunity in the service, we are very confident, in our many years of embedded services, we can chip technology with a car integration.

Transport layer, the network layer, Intel has been with the major manufacturers have close relations of cooperation. For example Huawei, we use some of our own products in the equipment. We think that the network transport equipment, mainly from the control layer, from the application layer, from the data packet to the processing of digital information, the whole of an integrated, Intel technology open platform, can provide network equipment business an integration of such an opportunity. At the top of the application layer, I just mentioned the data center. This is in the inside we also understand, when we want to promote the Internet of things, is a major part of your data is more and more, to the data center requirements and compliance, the amount of increase. The finished product made by Intel, or the highly functional server products, have a large market size in the data center. And our development of virtual technology, so that the utilization of the processor greatly improved. This year, there is a data, in the data center construction process, 50% is to buy equipment, the remaining 50% is spent on energy consumption, because you have to maintain a temperature critical. The advancement of virtual technology and Moore's Law can influence the development of data, and can influence the demand of IoT from the angle of cornerstone.

Today we have some products that can work directly. Of course it can't cover the whole. Because this is a very big market. Intel has a major role to play today, and we will continue to develop new products that can be extended to more levels.

When it comes to Moore's law, I personally come from silicon technology. Let me briefly explain Moore's law. Half a century ago, one of Moore's founders suggested that transistor integration would decrease every 18 months. 32 NM products above 1.1 billion, indeed a great vision.

Just now I mentioned the pendulum theory, I think a pretty durable, is also a pretty great strategy, in odd years, we will introduce a design on a relatively basic innovation and advancement. In even years, we will make a reduction from the process. Generally speaking, if it is a general concept, if you take two years as a whole, 60% to 70% performance improvement, how to measure it? How much you can improve your performance with a certain power consumption, or how much you can reduce by maintaining a certain amount of power. 70% is designed, and 30% is functional. Until today, 22 nm is likely to come up next year.

In product diversification and some low-end applications have a direct impact. From our point of view, we should pick something that can directly use some computing power, leave him on the chip, and remove the extra parts. This is a collection of two things. Moore's law narrows our design space a lot. We have introduced smart products, our power loss is very fast.

This is a very simple diagram, because time is limited, I just want to share with you, in the Internet of things in this specific operation, there should be a special part of the consideration of this issue. In fact, I have just talked about 35 different projects in the industry, for us is a network of things in the broad definition of the components. Specific things networking I say, if with the angle of induction layer, the sensor layer inside, we have many different ways to mortem it. The cost of the problem, ultimately to the landing to a sustainable business model. But below, we can make some contribution, the gateway device that I mentioned just now, it can inject certain computation ability and network ability, can put some low function some sensors to be able to collect, can send to transport layer through the transport layer, within the different range, we already have a chance to use. Go forward through Moore's law, in the pyramid, we will have a process of diffusion, the entire pyramid will be larger and bigger.

Finally give you a very specific example, this is a smart Processor gateway processing platform. This is the smart composition of a reference platform, which has integrated unlimited communication module, coupled with the core of smart, it has some of the computing functions we just mentioned, and of course has a network of tools, a connection function. This is a small example of how we can introduce new technologies in Intel to help the integration of the IoT industry.

To sum up, I would like to go on to the discussion and prospect of the internet of things, which I think is particularly exciting, the trend of China's internet of things is very good, I think it is very good that the main point is that the government and the Academy of Sciences can take the lead in such a development. The necessary conditions for the internet of things, you need to be able to standardize, can be promoted in this industry. In the enterprise application, today already has.
