July 15 News, Intel said recently, the company through continuous efforts and research, the future of the Internet has a new vision, predicting the future of the Internet will reflect the network world and real life in the near-one-step combination. According to foreign media reports, Jeribatista, the head of Intel Technology Management and microprocessor research, said in a keynote speech at this year's Semicon West Congress that Intel has been working to develop a network with immersive connection experience (ICE), The adoption of new equipment has made the digital world more and more penetrated into real life. At the moment, Batista points out, this development has come to the fore in a number of areas, such as the 3D camera that Intel is working on, with its help to bring participants together in the same virtual space and have a virtual presence, while face is the real face of the user in front of the camera. In addition, Intel Labs are studying computer vision through computers, digital cameras and the GPS capabilities of smartphones. For example, users can take photos of a path with their smartphone, and then gain global positioning via GPS, ultimately using maps applications that cover the globe to get information about landmarks and directions. Batista also suggests that applications such as virtual life will become more lifelike. Intel has been using software modeling techniques to optimize 3D images, including making computer-generated environments more consistent with the laws of nature. Batista points out that there are many more virtual worlds than virtual life, where Poptropica attracts 21 million of users, while those who use Neopets have more than 45 million, and more than half of these users are children aged 4 to 12, and in the process of their growth, Engaging in virtual world interaction will be a commonplace. All of this means adding a lot of computing power and requiring the server to work 10 times times faster, with faster bandwidth and a new generation of "multi-core" computing processors. Batista stressed that the current restrictions are not primarily hardware, but software, and Intel is able to embed enough cores on a single chip (currently 80 records) to meet new requirements for ice.
