"Enet Silicon Valley Power Information Center News" September 17, according to Reuters, Intel's chief technology Officer Justin Ratner (Justin Rattner) plugged sensors into his socks in Wednesday to demonstrate how powerful the capabilities of personal devices might be in the future. Ratner says future handheld mobile devices can combine the current common positioning technology with microphones, cameras, heart and body monitors and even brain scans to provide users with services like friends. Ratner shows a new TV remote control that allows users to understand their preferences for TV programs by holding a remote control. Ratner says these induction technologies will soon be in Intel's products. (Munan)
