Intel releases beta software development tools: for Netbooks

Beijing Time December 3 News, according to foreign media reports, Intel Wednesday released a beta software development kit to help software developers for the netbook development applications, and will be in the application store to promote.

The software development Kit can be applied to the Microsoft Windows operating system that dominates the netbook market, as well as the open source operating system developed by Intel Moblin. Most of the netbooks currently sold on the market are based on the Intel Ling processor.

The software Development Kit will help software companies and individual developers develop and submit applications for netbooks based on Intel processors. Intel says these applications will eventually be available for sale in the App Store, which is scheduled for launch next year.

The Intel Developer program was originally presented at the Intel Information Technology Summit held in September this year. In addition to the Software Development Kit, the project also includes community resources for developing new applications based on the mobile processor device.

Renee James, director of Intel's Software and services division, says developers can take advantage of the rapid growth in the number of consumers using the Infineon processor netbook.

Intel also launched the system chip at the information Technology Summit as a platform to support the networking High-definition television. Intel plans to reduce the energy consumption of the mobile processor over the next few years, making it the foundation of the smartphone platform. The launch of the Software Development Toolkit is the first step for Intel to build a developer community, and the developer community will eventually develop applications for Intel's various devices based on the mobile processor.
