Intel stops publishing its own source code large data software Hadoop version

People familiar with the matter reported to the VentureBeat that Intel Capital, its investment agency, would announce a new round of investment in Cloudera and become Cloudera's biggest shareholder. Intel Capital may invest more than 90 million dollars (about 553.2 million yuan) in Cloudera.

Intel and Cloudera have not commented.

Cloudera last week just announced a round of financing of $160 million trillion (about 983.4 million yuan). A week later, Hadoop development company Hortonworks announced a round of $100 million trillion (about 614.7 million yuan) of financing. Last year, another Hadoop development company, Pivotal, received 105 million dollars (about 645.4 million yuan) to finance GE.

Companies are increasingly interested in the scalability and open source features of Hadoop, and the small analyst software vendors that support Hadoop are becoming increasingly popular with investors.

Although the support services for the sale of Hadoop software seem to easily bring real money, Intel's Hadoop version has never been a huge success, especially in the US market.
