Ubuntu is about to enter the mobile operating system, a complex ecosystem. The stakes involved are complex, as can be seen from the Android ecosystem. The mobile version of Ubuntu will not be available in the near future.

ZDNet in an interview with Canonical founder Mark Shuttleworth that it is expected that Ubuntu's mobile device will not be available until 2014 years. In other words, Ubuntu has a lot of work to do in more than two years from now. The article also points out that Ubuntu has not even launched an alpha version of the mobile operating system, which means developers cannot get to know the system first, and no developer community can discuss the problem.

For Ubuntu, the longer the product moves, the higher the threshold for entry into the field. However, the development of Android can also be seen (Google bought Android in 2005 until the launch of G1 in 2008) a mobile platform with a good UI interface and cool product design will be supported by handset manufacturers and operators to set off the perfect storm in a short time. Ubuntu needs to learn from the Android experience, on the one hand, to obtain the support of manufacturers and operators to build a good business system, not just open source code.
