Investment enterprises in Hong Kong increased in the first half of this year

Galpin said that of the 174 companies, 26 from the mainland, 64 from Europe, 34 from North America, and others from the Asia-Pacific, South America, the Middle East and other areas.  These investments are expected to create 4,172 jobs.  The chief executive of the HKSAR, Mr Donald Tsang, said that investors continued to invest in Hong Kong mainly because of the good business environment and the proximity to the fast-growing mainland is also a major advantage. According to statistics, there are about 6,600 companies from the mainland, Taiwan and overseas to conduct business in Hong Kong. "
