ipad and Android to occupy 75% Tablet PC market this year

The 2010 Apple ipad and Google Android will occupy 75% of the Tablet PC market, a recent agency forecast predicts.　　While Android tablet sales will be less than half the ipad in 2010, a strong developer community and competitively priced content and services will drive the sale of Android Tablet PCs. IMS forecasts that Apple will occupy 51% of the Tablet PC market in 2010, leaving ample room for its rivals to grow.　　IMS expects 2010 Tablet PC market to reach $3.6 billion trillion.　　Anna Hunt, an IMS analyst, said she expects Android to 24%,windows 7 in the Tablet market by 2010, while the remaining 15% is Anna Hunter by other proprietary and Linux based platforms. Hunter points out that many ipad apps cost more than the iphone app, which provides the opportunity for a tablet that is competitive in both hardware and content prices. In addition, the ipad's success shows that tablet computers are in huge demand in the consumer market.
