Facebook is currently working on a new quick-find buddy feature that Facebook calls "Disambiguator".

Facebook will provide each user with an exclusive 8-digit number, through which the user no longer needs to search for a particular friend, just enter the corresponding 8-digit number.

At present, the function is still in the beta stage, only open to some users.

Although the number of input on the mobile side is simpler than the name, but this requires you to "extra" to remember the 8-digit number of the corresponding friend, if the number of use of a limited number of scenarios, only to find friends, the individual believes that the new features to the user's value is not very large.
