It's not a fallacy that cloud computing makes you safer.

Cloud computing can make you safer, whether it sounds absurd. Indeed, with data leaks, hacking attacks, and cloud outages, such as Amazon Cloud computing downtime and Dropbox authentication technology, these cloud security issues are a bit chilling. But you can't just deny cloud technology because of this. Before any successful change in history, there have been countless failures and countless hurdles.

Over time, cloud computing is bound to be safer than internal management, whether you believe it or not, I believe it anyway. So let's look at how cloud coach Peter HJ van Eijk explains.

First of all, good cloud manufacturers will be better

As these cloud vendors recruit more and more employees, they should have more staff to work on security. In addition, as economies grow in size, they are allowed to maintain more security processes. In essence, security workers are somewhat paranoid, somewhat more so. In a cloud security training recently directed by Peter, one trainer specifically created an Amazon Web service account for training. When the training was over, he completely terminated the account. Before the training ended, he showed Peter a message on his smartphone. Hours after he terminated his account, his collar-UK page had a visit from Amazon's compliance department. Evidently, his behavior was questioned. This shows that the cloud manufacturers in the security aspects of the measures are also very strong.

Another example is whether your IT department is tracking rogue resource utilization, or is the document leaking well organized? But the cloud manufacturer has done this work for you.

Second, special cases of special treatment--security as service

The previous example shows that cloud vendors do better than the average IT department, especially in special areas, and that some methods are competitive in advance. Now called security as service, or Secaas, the root of this trend may be traced back a long time ago. The basic idea is that a lot of security features can be done in a better way, by leveraging the attributes given by cloud computing, such as resilient scalability and resource pooling.

Secaas examples, you may be familiar with or actually use these: spam and malware filtering, blacklists and other reputation services, DDoS mitigation and monitoring (i.e. performance). We also see the company using cloud services as a component of the disaster recovery strategy. Innovation is very strong in this field.

In short, the market is approaching a "tipping point", and the cloud may actually be safer than internal management.
