ITunes Radio first introduced news Radio

On March 25, Apple's itunes Radio broke through streaming music services, introducing news Radio provider NPR (US National Public Radio), which was the first time Apple extended its itunes Radio service from music to other areas, according to the Nextweb website.

The ITunes Radio is an app for the Apple IOS7 system that offers free, advertising-focused music listening services that have been confined to music. However, the service is now open only in the US and Australia markets.

Apple's itunes Radio service is designed to compete with rivals such as the Pan-Dora Music Box. But music record company executives say this is not the case, with the first drop in music downloads last year. Apple, however, says its itunes radio users have reached 1 billion songs a month since the service was launched. The latest report by Edison studies shows that 8% of Americans have used the service for the past one months, while its rival, Pandora, is 31%.

The technology website 9to5mac earlier this month that Apple is considering creating an independent application for itunes Radio in the IOS8 system. In general, Apple needs to pay royalties to music labels, and it earns revenue by selling ads.
