Japan mobile phone market share Android first Super iphone

The report also showed that in the same period the iphone in the Japanese market shipments of 3.23 million units, the market share of 38%.　　In the previous year, the iphone in the Japanese market shipments of 1.69 million units, the market share of up to 72%. But the MM study report also points out that Apple is still the most popular handset maker in Japan, while Sharp, which first launched its Android phone in Japan last June, followed a 24% per cent share, with Sony Ericsson ranked third and its Xperia smartphone market share of 9.8%.
