Japan's Industry and Technology Institute recently released the world's first set of 3D stereo TV system, allowing users to touch, pinch or poke in front of the image, let a person feel novel. The future of the 3D TV will not only give the image stereoscopic appearance, the audience can also hand touch. It's the first time a TV audience can feel an aerial image and manipulate the image, "You'll have the touch of a ball or a sticky rice cake," said China, director of Japan's Industrial Technology Institute. China said the system has cameras that monitor the movements of the audience's fingers, enabling the 3D images that float in front of them to change shape as the touch moves. This new technology can also make any kind of sketch, into a 3D image, let people feel at will touch. While the new technology is not yet known to be officially available, researchers believe the new technology will be used in analog surgery or video game software, allowing players to experience the feeling of "real" hand-held weapons or sporting equipment.
