Japan to introduce electronic product recycling system focus on extracting precious metals

Precious metals in electronic products have high value as renewable resources, and their recovery and reuse are beneficial to environmental protection. The small committee will continue to discuss the specific contents of recycling methods, target species and so on.　　The environment province plans to submit a new system bill in its regular congressional session next year. The plan lists the car navigation devices, desktop game consoles and other cost-effective recovery varieties. If each kilogram of mobile phone contains about 1700 yen (about 142 yuan) of precious metals and so on, assuming that the old mobile phones are all recycled, the estimate of its value will reach 9.6 billion yen per year.
