Japanese auto exports record biggest decline

Xinhua Tokyo May 29 (reporter Ye Jia) Japan Automobile Industry Association announced 29th, the data show that the major markets such as Europe and the United States and Asia, such as the sharp decline in exports, the April Japanese car manufacturers export volume of 206,000 vehicles, compared with the same period last year, a 64.7% decline,　　The biggest decline since the 1973-year rate, and the seventh consecutive month. Japan's domestic car production also fell for 7 consecutive months, in April, Japanese auto manufacturers in the domestic production of 485,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 41.7%.　　Among them, car production was 416,000 vehicles, down 47.2% from a year earlier, and the output of goods vehicles and coaches dropped sharply. In terms of exports, Japanese car makers have fallen sharply on exports to all regions, with exports falling by nearly 70% per cent to the major markets, and exports to Central and South America and the Middle East, down by more than 70%, and exports to the European Union down 43.5%.
