Jinshan Office software Investment party including Morningside Capital, GGV Capital and the Chinese Internet Fund

Kingsoft Office software products are Microsoft Office competitors. In the near future, the company began to develop its operations in the United States and set up its North American headquarters in Palo, California.

The company will use the latest financing to support operations in the United States and develop global markets through collaboration with OEM manufacturers in the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (pre-installed mobile devices), software developers and service providers. Morningside Capital and GGV Capital will join the company's board of Directors to assist it in developing a global strategy.

Kingsoft Office software PC version of the product currently has 120 million users worldwide, while the Android version of the number of registered users recently exceeded 100 million. The company's spokesman said that the focus of Kingsoft Office software in the United States was to provide free software for mobile devices, while in emerging markets it would focus on both PCs and mobile office software. Kingsoft Office software plans to upgrade its iOS version of its products, adding features similar to the Android version of the software.

Jinshan Office software recently also invested in Beijing's Android application developers go Launcher, the latter's monthly active number of users reached 42 million, of which 70% are located in China abroad.
