Google's Infantry team support System (legged Geek Support system, referred to as LS3) is currently in Hawaii following the United States Marines for the first time in field delivery tests.
The system, which takes 5 years to develop and is not replenished for 24 hours, can carry a 181.44 kg load and travel 32.18 kilometres. They can also follow soldiers in complex terrain such as trees, rocks, obstructions and urban areas.
In the actual test, the robot dog carries more than 180 kilograms of weapons and military equipment, and follows the soldiers along the designated route in a disciplined way.
The robotic dog is one of a series of robots designed by Google, the Boston Dynamics Company (Boston Dynamics), which is mainly used to carry heavy loads for combat soldiers.
