Net applications today's data show that Apple's Safari still dominates the mobile browser market. The June Safari share was 58%, down 2% compared with May, but still commanding. The second-most Android browser share is 20.6%, a slight drop from 20.7% last month. Opera Mini ranked third in 11.2% of the market, an increase of 0.7% per cent from last month. Google's share of Chrome has also risen, from 3.2% in May to 3.8%, up 0.6%. In addition, IE shares increased from 2% in May to 2.4%. Based on another set of data from Net applications, mobile browsing currently accounts for only 11.4% of the total browsing volume, compared to 88% of PC browsing. Currently apps dominate mobile smart devices, and HTML5 technology has temporarily failed to provide a user experience that is superior to the app, resulting in a lower percentage of mobile browsing as a whole. With the development of HTML5 technology and the further popularization of mobile smart devices, mobile browsing will increase rapidly.
