Kingsoft Software appointed former CFO Wang Sunde as independent non-executive director

July 15 Evening News, Kingsoft Software (03888.HK) issued a notice today announcing changes in directors, Ruku Ming resigned as independent non-executive director of the company, Wang Sunde was appointed as the new independent non-executive director, July 15, 2014 effective.

Wang Sunde is a consultant and operational partner of CITIC Capital Partners Ltd. From October 2011 to July 2012, he served as Executive director and Chief financial officer of Jinshan software. From April 2007 to September 2011, he served as an independent non-executive director of Kingsoft Software, Chairman of Audit committee and member of remuneration committee. From August 2007 to September 2011, Wang Sunde as the vice president and financial control of Alibaba (rolling information) group. During the Alibaba Group's tenure, Wang Sunde also served as chairman of the group's Financial Control Committee. From August 2003 to August 2007, he was chief financial officer of Goodbaby Children products Group (Goodbaby), a leading youth product manufacturer in China. Prior to joining Goodbaby, Wang Sunde served as vice president of finance for Hong Kong-listed companies, Wan Wei International Limited, from September 2001 to July 2003.

Wang Sunde has extensive experience in financial monitoring, operations, strategic planning and implementation, private equity investment and exit strategies. He holds a master's degree in Finance from Lancaster University (University of Lancaster) and a master's degree in Australian charlesstuartuniversity accounting. Wang Sunde is also a senior Certified Public Accountants member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants and a senior member of the Australian Society of Accountants. (Munan)
