Beijing time October 20 morning news, according to foreign media reports, Intel users have previously filed a class action against Intel, accusing Intel of violating antitrust regulations. Lawyers on behalf of PC users who initiated an action against Intel filed objections to court officials ' previous recommendations, saying that the plaintiff's request for a class-action status should not be rejected in a lawsuit involving a user accusing Intel of violating antitrust law. Vicente Pobiti (Vincent J. Poppiti), a special expert of the Tribunal, submitted a report on July 28 to the Delaware State Wilmington District Judge Leonardo Stark (Leonard P. Stark) that the purchase of PC users using Intel chips " have been unable to prove that they have shared evidence that Intel has violated the antitrust law. In response to Pobiti's above-mentioned report, the plaintiff's lawyer, Clayton-Azerbaijan (J. Clayton Athey), in the court document submitted on October 15, requested the judge to give the case a class action status. He said the plaintiffs had "already stated common evidence" that "as a result of Intel's antitrust practices, the company priced its microprocessors too high, which led to high prices for consumers buying PCs." AMD also launched a charge against Intel in 2005, saying it violated antitrust laws by offering discounts to users to stop them from buying AMD products. Since then, Intel agreed to pay 1.5 billion of billions of dollars to AMD to close the case in November. "We believe the special expert is right," Chack Macro Advanced Micro, a spokesman for Intel, said in a telephone interview. "(Tangfeng)
