The announcement showed that Mr Yang and Lenovo had signed a letter of appointment and were appointed as associate independent Non-executive directors for a term of three years, and were required to retire and elect a second term in accordance with the association's rules and regulations at the annual general meeting.
Mr Yang now holds Lenovo's 24,391 shares of common shares and has an equity stake in 550,852 shares under a long-term incentive plan. In addition, during his term of office, Mr Yang will be paid a total of $287,500, including $87,500 in cash, and an equity interest of $200,000.
