According to IDC data, in the second quarter of 2011, global PC shipments grew 2.6%, Lenovo grew 22.9%, HP grew 4%, and Dell grew 2.8%. In two mature markets in North America and Europe, Lenovo surged 30.8% and its market share reached 6.6% per cent in the overall decline of 4% in the North American market. The Western European market Dell slipped 12.7%, HP slipped 6.1%, Acer slipped 44.6%, Lenovo bought Germany medionag with 900 million dollars, Germany's market share increased by more than 14%, and its European market share increased to 7%.
