Lenovo Group announces organizational restructuring

January 29 Evening News, Lenovo Group announced the restructuring of the Organization. Since April 1, 2014, Lenovo Group has set up four new, relatively independent business groups.

The 1,PC business group (including the Lenovo Brand and think Brand) is headed by Lanci, the current leader of the European Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), Gianfranco Lanci.

2, mobile group (smartphone, tablet, smart TV), is responsible for the current leader of the Lenovo Business Group (consumer and mobile products) of Liu June.

3, Enterprise-class business groups (including servers and storage) are headed by Gerry Smith, the incumbent leader Americas. The recently announced acquisition of IBM x86 server business will be incorporated into Smith's organization after the required approvals are completed.
