Under the agreement, Lenovo owns 51% of the new group's issued share capital, while NEC owns 49% of the new group's issued share capital. The new group will retain Lenovo and NEC brands, and the products will continue to be sold separately through their respective channels. Hideyo Takasu, President of NEC Personal Products Co., is the president and chief executive officer of the new joint venture company, and the current president of Lenovo (Japan) Co., Ltd. Roderick Lappin will be executive chairman. Lenovo's CEO, Yang, said in an interview earlier, "Five years later, Lenovo will have the conditions to buy at the highest 275 million U.S. dollars in the other 49% of NEC Holdings, so as to complete the NEC PC business wholly-owned acquisition." ”
