Lenovo officially completes its acquisition of motorcycles

In the September months, Lenovo finally completed the acquisition of Motorola.

October 30, Lenovo announced that it has completed its acquisition of Motorola Mobile from Google. In an interview with the 21st century Economic report, Lenovo Group chairman and CEO Yang said: "After the completion of the acquisition, Lenovo will further consolidate the status of the world's third-largest expert machine manufacturers."

Lenovo will further enhance its global reach by acquiring the Motorola brand and acquiring smart-phone product portfolios including MotoX, Motog, Motoe and the Droid series, as well as Motorola's future product plans, according to Lenovo.

"Lenovo will operate Motorola in the form of a wholly owned subsidiary, and its headquarters will continue to be located in Chicago, the United States," said Yang. After the acquisition, nearly 3,500 employees from around the world will join Lenovo, including about 2,800 employees in the United States who design, plan, sell and support Motorola's products.

In addition, Lenovo executive vice president and mobile business Group president Liu June will become the chairman of Motorola Mobile Management Committee, Motorola senior Gao Tary Kest Ostro will continue to serve as Motorola's president and chief operating officer.
