Lenovo's flat-panel handset business revenue increased 76% sales in the first PC

August 15 News, this morning, Lenovo Group announced the first quarter as of June 30, 2013 results. Lenovo announced that Lenovo's smartphone version of the computer's total cumulative sales exceeded its PC sales for the first time.

Lenovo has become the world's fourth-largest smartphone provider, with sales up 132% per cent year-on-year in the first quarter, according to data from IDC. In terms of sales in China, Lenovo is now the second-largest smartphone maker in China, with sales growing 121% per cent year-on-year.

China has become the leading market for Lenovo's smartphone and tablet sales surge. Earnings show that Lenovo mobile phones and tablet computers in the first quarter of business turnover in the year cloak growth of 76%. In particular, Lenovo's overall portfolio of products grew at a year-on-year rate of just 5.6% per cent, with the growth of tablet handsets growing far beyond the PC.
